About Bilton

What Bilton is like.

Around St Peter's Church, Main Road, Wyton and Ganstead.

Bilton is a village on the B1238 just beyond Hull's eastern boundary, joined to the hamlet of Wyton. St Peter's Church was rebuilt in the nineteenth century on the site of a medieval chapel. Bungalows and houses line the main road, with older farmhouses towards the church. The parish also takes in Ganstead.

The legal work that usually comes up

Parents rarely help every child equally during their lives. One may have had a deposit, another a wedding, another nothing at all. A will can treat earlier help as an advance, taken off that child's share. Parents who want things even in the end should say so in the will.
