Instruction forms
Fill it in at the kitchen table.
Nine forms, one for each kind of matter. Type straight into the file, save it, and email it back. They are the same questions Aaron asks at the appointment, in the same order, so the meeting is spent on decisions rather than on gathering facts.
How they work
Finish one page, and you have finished something.

Section 01 is the whole of the ask
Ten to seventeen answers depending on the form, none of which needs a document or a phone call. It has its own signature line and its own return address, and sending that page on its own is a complete thing to do.

The rest is for the appointment
Every section says whether it is needed to start or can wait, and roughly how long it takes. A blank is an answer: it tells Aaron what to ask about.

Nothing is instructed by sending one
A form is information. Aaron confirms the fee in writing first, and the work starts once you have agreed it.

Each one opens with what it is for, what it costs and how long it takes. Every figure on them is the same figure as the schedule of fees.
Wills
For anyone making a first will, or replacing one that no longer says what they want.

Powers of attorney
For choosing who can act, while there is still the capacity to choose.

After a death
For an executor dealing with an estate, or a beneficiary redirecting what they have inherited.

If you are an adviser
Send the blank form.
Page one of every form has four lines for your name, firm, email and reference, and a box your client ticks to say you may be told when the matter opens, with the agreed fee, and again when the documents are signed. No referral fee is paid or received in either direction, and your details are used for those two messages and nothing else.
The last page of every form is written for you: what happens to a referral, what Safe Harbour does not do, and where the data protection line falls when a form passes through your hands. The cleaner route is to send the blank form and let the client return it, and every form says so.
