How it works
One place for the papers, for as long as the matter runs.
- What it holds
- Documents shared in both directions while your matter is open: drafts for you to check, papers you send to Aaron, and copies of what has been signed. Everything shared and received sits in one list, so you can see where things are.
- How you get access
- Login details arrive by email when Aaron opens your matter. There is nothing to set up before then, and nothing to pay for.
- What it is not for
- The portal is for sharing documents during your matter, not for long-term storage. When the work is finished you receive copies of the final documents to keep. It is not a messaging service either. To talk to Aaron, call 01262 310 850 or email aaron@safeharbour.legal.
- Security
- LawConnect is an encrypted document-sharing portal built for law firms. For sensitive documents it is a safer route than email attachments. You can still email if you prefer.
After the signing
Keeping your plan current.
A will or a power of attorney describes the life you have when you sign it. Marriage, divorce, a new child or grandchild, a house move, a death in the family or a change in the tax rules can all put it out of date.
It is a good idea to review your will after any major life change. Ask Aaron what a review would cost. The fee is fixed and agreed in writing before any work starts.
If you are not sure whether anything has changed enough to matter, ask. A short call is usually enough to tell.
