Minster Quarter & Saturday Market, Beverley.

The streets around Beverley Minster and Saturday Market are the historic heart of the county town. Medieval lanes, Georgian townhouses and the North Bar all sit inside one of Yorkshire's best-preserved conservation areas. Homes here are often listed and often long held. Their values reflect Beverley's standing as the East Riding's most sought-after address.

The legal work that usually comes up

Old-town Beverley estates are rarely simple: listed and conservation-area property, and values comfortably above the nil-rate band. Families often want to keep a much-loved house in the family. Aaron drafts Wills with the residence nil-rate band in mind and advises on Trusts for a higher-value estate. He handles Probate where a period property needs a careful valuation that will stand up to HMRC.
